About our Pastor - Reverend Dr. Godwin Kalu

Reverend Dr. Godwin Kalu was called into the ministry of the Word in the year 1972, in the Assemblies of God Nigeria. He has functioned in different ministerial capacities since his call. Prior to his coming (second coming) to US, Pastor Kalu was highly engaged in Pastoral and Evangelistic ministries within andoutside Assemblies of God Nigeria/ He was also a Lecturer for more than a decade, in the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Umuahia, Nigeria. As a Bible Translator, he helped in the effort to translate the NIV into one of the popular Nigerian languages. Pastor Kalu also served, for many years, as the Assistant District Superintendent of Aliudo District until 1999 when the Holy Ghost led him to the US (for the second time) to pastor International Assembly of God. The Reverend minister is alo an experienced pioneer.

Pastor Kalu has a B.A. in Bible, MA in Biblical Literature, and a Ph.D. in History and Philosophy. He attended Central Bible College in Nigeria, Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri USA, AGTS (graduate school) also in Springfield, Missouri. He also is a graduate of University of Calabar, Nigeria. Besides, Dr. Kalu is a widely read and an extensively travelled minister of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

As a result of many years of academic experience, an on-the-job training, Pastor Kalu has gained proficiency in the areas of Leadership, Administration, Bible Translation and Exposition, Training of personnel both young and old, and much more.

Pastor Godwin Kalu is the first pastor of International Assembly of God in Randolph, Massachusetts, and has remained thus till present.

​

Pastor Kalu and his late wife are the proud parents of five children-- Chidinma Kalu, Onyedikachi Kalu, Oluchi Kalu, Amarachi Kalu (all graduates) and Daniel Kalu.

​

On the 30th day of October 2017 (after many years of being a widower), Pastor Kalu got married to beautiful and talented lady- Mary Kalu- who is also a minister of the Gospel.
